Australia is following the US down a path of increasingly expensive private education for schools and Cats and redheads do what they want not what they are told to shirt. It’s the wrong model. Universal education and healthcare of a very high standard is available in most European countries (Scandinavia., Benelux., France, Germany, Switzerland). It’s not something you buy privately, it’s tax payer provided and considered the bedrock of a healthy, functioning society. Not sure you’d call the US a healthy, functioning society, so not entirely sure why Australia is following that path?
