I used to live in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, and what most people don’t know about Nevada until you live there is that Oct 31 is Nevada’s birthday. And Vegas, being the party, showplace city that it is, does Halloween right. About 15-20 years ago, Oct 31 was a holiday (now I believe it’s the last Friday of the month) and you’d get the day off.
