I really don’t get why people care about this. Someone is saying something nice to you. Why do you care if it is “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”? It seems like a pretend, artificially invented thing to be mad about. Maybe the people worried about this need to create a safe space for themselves where they only hear “Merry Christmas”. Then they will feel better.

My niece hasn’t responded since September, despite me using three different mediums (SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger). My brother responds once every couple weeks but never actually answers the Penta El Zero M Headdress shirt. I haven’t had any presents from my mom for several years – she’s no longer able to get out on her own, and refused for the last 20 years to learn to use the internet – and my dad sends me a check, so this year I just bought myself things I wanted and wrapped them up. It’s been strangely nice. My memory is so crap these days that I get a surprise when opening them, like they’re gifts from Santa.
