Middle school did not go well. They allowed him to go back with his druggy mother. The man was soon found and did live, but my student has been in jail now for about 18 months with no trial date set. Nothing will ever make me believe that inserting the other child half way through the school year didn’t undo everything I had accomplished. His grandmother feels the same.
