David Bowie we can be Heroes just for one day shirt
In 7th grade I saved up and bought my own accordion. In 8th grade I began taking classes on how to play it. I also dressed up as him for Halloween. He was all I ever listened to. No one else. 2006 rolled around and his smash hit “White & Nerdy” came out and, all of a David Bowie we can be Heroes just for one day shirt , he was well known everywhere and everyone sang that darn song every day. It seemed as though I was no longer his biggest fan. Deep down though, I knew I had a much more concrete understanding of this amazing man than anyone I’ll ever know. I finally saw him in concert in 2015, having followed his work for over ten years. Long overdue but I’m so glad I saw old Alfred in person. And no, I no longer play the accordion.
