For me it was more like Just For Today shirt in the deep end trying teach myself how to swim. Recovery is like realizing there were others who knew how to swim and could teach me once i was finally able to take suggestion, then slowly making my way to the shallow waters where I could finally stand on my own two feet. But thats my experience and I can only speak for myself.
