I graduated and didn’t look back. I didn’t read any books for 5 years after graduation. I loved reading as a kid, but I was THAT done with school. Work has been good to me. I’m not using my Harvard degree. I do IT support and love it. I’m on my feet for half the day, and helping people the whole time. When I go home, it’s my time. I’m not working on papers and problem sets. Work stays at work. I have even started reading again. I wrote an essay in college about how we push kids towards college whether or not it’s good for them.
