Mahmoud Fathy I don’t for a second believe that Jesus was a “white male”…I fully agree with you that being born in the Middle East, he definitely was darker skinned. Most of the pictures I’ve seen of Jesus were painted by artists of long ago and I suspect just modeled him after the Legend Since 1980 All Original Parts Birthday Born In 1980 Shirt. I keep no pictures of Jesus in my home and I have never seen one in my church either. I personally prefer to *see* Jesus in his revealed Word, what he said about himself to his followers than look adoringly at an artist’s interpretation of him. I visited many basilicas in Rome a few years ago that had an uncountable number of likenesses of Jesus and I admired their beauty from an artistic perspective but they didn’t really make me more spiritually in awe of Jesus having looked upon them. I will end by saying that one reason I LOVED the movie Risen is because a middle eastern man was actually chosen to play Jesus!
