Whoever thought that Argentina would medal before the start of the last Olympics must either have an unshakable confidence in the South-American nation or must have seen some weird patterns in the stars and think those were words. But predictions aside, you can't deny that Argentina absolutely deserved it. They went through possibly one of the toughest parcours imaginable, beat many tough opponents and got their country again on the podium after 30+ years. Argentina always had quite some potential as a volleyball country, as they have several high-profile players in their squad. It just never seemed to come out when it mattered, but now it did and look at what they achieved.
