Well, as a woman who did in fact break up with people over education I can say many of the commenters are viewing this differently than I did. To me, education is important and I wanted to be with someone who also felt that way. To me the degree is more than a piece of paper, it’s a reflection of priorities. Yes, there are extenuating circumstances and I did take that into consideration with the people I met, but Boston Bruins It’s In My DNA T-Shirt and I were similarly minded. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. The degree should definitely be for you though, or else it will mean little to you and the process will be less fruitful than it could be.
