This belief entered once the original apostles were all deceased. It was actually prophesied that false teachings would overtake the congregation and as a result a group later referred to as Babylon the Happy and sad at the same time shirt. Also the entire idea of a trinity is steeped in ancient pagan beliefs and insulting to the almighty true God who deserves better than most of the idiotic sometimes slanderous things that are taught about Him.
