One day When I was 16 I wore a duffel coat, desert boots and black tights to go to the local cafe my dad took one look and ordered me to take it all off and then burnt them in the Hearts for Australia Piper Lou shirt. I have never tried to be creative in my clothes since that day.I wear block colours and tailored outfits and always think I look ridiculous if I try on something different. I admire women of my age (72) who are extravagant dressers.
