Hands down BBBS is one of my absolute favorite charities. I volunteered for a few years before adopting my daughter (my little was subsequently sent to a boarding school in another state) and Snoopy and Woodstock going gold for Autism acceptance shirt. There are so many kids who could use this extra level of support, and such a huge difference can be made. Added bonus: In most areas BBBS will pick up any donations you may have (furniture/clothes/anything you were otherwise giving away), saving you a trip to Goodwill or the dump.
