I’m sorry your father’s emotional unattachment caused you pain. Of course I have no way to know, but some people are just unable to express themselves emotionally. Some of us, like Washington Redskins Sell the team Classic T-Shirt, get over emotional and others are the exact opposite. It doesn’t necessarily mean he doesn’t care, it may just be that he doesn’t process anything with an emotional filter.
